I'll be adding some photos of previous knitting as I get pictures. My first FO for this year (the knitting year beginning in the fall, that is) is a pair of fingerless gloves for me. I used no pattern--just swatched and measured. We spend many hours on the phone each week discussing both work and knitting. I would not call myself an advanced knitter by any stretch--maybe more like intermediate. But I'm very interested in developing techniques. I have learned recently that I am a Zimmerman-style process knitter. This means mostly that I don't have the patience to follow patterns and usually just make it up as I go along. It also means that I have experienced more than one knitting disaster but many exciting successes.<br /><br />I don't envision this blog being limited exclusively to knitting. I am a very jack-of-all-trades crafter who easily gets bored doing one thing.
